about

Self taught artist. Instinctive painter. Art lover.

I dream, I imagine and I fantasise, and I paint them all.

I was born in Bengal, India, with a family and relatives full of art connoisseurs. There were ample early inspirations to be creative right at home.  I am a self taught artist. I am an IT Cloud Infra Project Manager in a Global MNC during the day and an ardent Artist by the night.

I do not feel compelled to be stuck in one genre or the other. I paint instinctively, straight out of my heart and imagination. However, abstract expressions are my favourite. I feel strong and liberated in this form of expression.  I tend to mix figurative paintings with some element of abstraction. I also incline towards surrealism and expressionism.

I take liberty to be influenced by the great masters like Picasso, Miro and our own MF Hussain.

For any artist, the ultimate reward is appreciation and recognition. And I crave for it. Also, I seek criticism and guidance. For me, life is endless learning with zero egos.

My message is, “Perfection is desirable, yet abstraction is artistic”.
